Penalty Shoot-Out Glory
I don’t suppose that the U18 team players from Hampton School even realised that the hail-stones were coming down in Shrewsbury this week as their goal keeper saved a penalty to secure victory for them in the English Schools FA Cup final.
There was only going to be one place to be when the spot kicks started to ensure I captured that unique moment of sheer joy shown on the faces of the youngsters as they ran to celebrate with their goalkeeper. It just makes the best picture.
Glad to say that Hampton School agreed with me and selected it for the front page of their school website on the following day.
